What is the Shark Vac Navigator?

Vacuuming has always been my least favorite chore, and with three kids and two dogs, it's no wonder why. My entire house has to be vacuumed at least every other day or it looks like a tornado blew through, and even then, there's still pet hair, dirt, and various art supplies that my cleaner just doesn't pick up. When it got to the point that my old vacuum was only cleaning up about 50% of the dirt.

I was originally planning to go with the Dyson vacuum because I loved the swivel feature. It made a lot of sense to have a vacuum that could turn in any direction rather than just straight and I knew it'd be useful for cleaning up around all the furniture. When I saw that the Dyson was $500, however, I knew that vacuum simply wouldn't work.

That's when my friend told me about the Shark Vac Navigator she had seen advertised on TV. The Shark Vacuum claimed to do everything that the Dyson does, but at a much lower price. I was interested and set off to learn more.

The Shark Vac also has the swivel feature that I was looking for, but much more as well. To start with, the vacuum cleaner guarantees that there will be no loss of suction, ever. Considering I was having to replace my old vacuum because it no longer had any suction, this was a huge perk for me.

The Shark Vac is able to make this guarantees because of infinity technology. This technology uses over 20 different cyclones to move dirt away from the filter. This means that fine particles of dust will no longer clog the vacuum since they won't become trapped in the filter. This results in a much longer and much stronger suction life.

The Shark vacuum also comes with two modes, carpet and hard flooring. Anyone who has hard flooring, whether it be tile or wood, knows how difficult it can be to clean it. You have to sweep daily to prevent crumbs from scratching the floor, then mop to remove any leftover mess. It's much simpler to use a vacuum, but because the carpets have to be beaten to kick up dirt and debris, this can be extremely damaging to hard flooring.

With the Shark vacuum, however, all it takes is one simple press of a button to turn off the brush roll and move to hard flooring. Even better, when used on carpet, the brush roll is designed to actually suck up pet hair rather than trapping it and spinning around pointlessly like most vacuums.

The Shark Navigator also comes with the huge plus of being portable. I have a large set of carpeted stairs in my home and vacuuming there has always been a huge pain. My old vacuum was extremely heavy and the attachments never worked that great. The Shark Navigator improves this by allowing users to simply lift off the handle of the vacuum, which then turns into a hose. You then pull up the vacuum canister and have a completely portable device that is perfect for stairs.

Another huge plus with the Shark Vac Navigator is that the cleaner is designed to vacuum up 99.9% of allergens. Most vacuum cleaners do suck up a large majority of allergens, but because the vacuum itself isn't air-tight, fine dust, pollen, or pet hair particles can escape back into the air. This can make vacuuming torture for those who have allergies because the allergens are blowing right into your face. Thankfully, the Shark Vac prevents all this by sealing in all those torturous particles. The vacuum also comes equipped with a HEPA filter for added protection as well.

There are many places you can purchase the vacuum, but I chose to do so from AsSeenOnTV. The Shark Vac AsSeenOnTV cost under $200, more than half of what the Dyson was priced at. The Shark Vac AsSeenOnTV also came with a free shark steam mop too. While the vacuum cleaner is great for cleaning on hard flooring, I enjoy the steam mop because it helps sanitizes too. I feel this is very important when you have several young children and the mop makes it incredibly easy.

I've had the Shark Vac Navigator for almost a year now and can honestly day that it does everything the advertisements claimed and more. Even with daily or every-other-day use, the cleaner has the same amount of suction it did the day I bought it.

Even better, there are two features about the vacuum that I didn't see advertised. The first is that it is extremely quiet. Any mother knows that you never want to wake up a child when they're napping, so I use to always have to wait until my children were awake to vacuum. This was hard in itself because then I had three children running around making messes as I was trying to clean them. Thankfully, the Shark cleaner is so quiet that this is no longer a problem. I can vacuum any time, day or night, and none of my children even stir.

The second feature is that the cleaner is extremely light weight. At only 15lb, I'm able to carry the entire vacuum upstairs without a problem. When the vacuum is switched into canister mode, it's even lighter. Both features are a huge plus and earn the Shark Cleaner a 10/10 rating.

How Does the Shark Vac Work?

When it comes to vacuums, the Shark Vac stands above the rest. The Shark Vac Navigator strips 99% of particles away from the filtration system which provides a constant clean suction and will never lose suction.

Compared to the Dyson vacuum, the Shark Vac AsSeenOnTV product is superior for carpet and bare floor cleaning. The brush rotation has a shut off option to avoid spraying dirt behind the vacuum path, making it ideal for bare floor cleaning. The Dyson vacuum is heavier than the Shark Navigator. The Shark Navigator weighs only 15 pounds, making it an easy vacuum to push or to lift to other parts of the home.

The Shark vac Navigator has the flexibility to clean surfaces using a wide variety of tools included with the system. The turbo brush is unsurpassed in collecting stuck on pet hair. The Shark vac’s long crevice tool gets dirt and hair in hard to reach places. The crevice tool is longer than most at 24 inches.

Accessories can be placed in the large bag and the crevice tool plus dusting brush is placed on-board. In addition, the Shark vacuum has a detachable canister for easy stair cleaning or vacuuming out cars.

The Suction Technology of the Shark vac AsSeenOnTV product boasts extra cleaning power years after purchase. The filter stays clean and is never having to overwork the motor due to clogged filtration. The extra large dust capture cup makes cleaning a breeze with easy emptying of dirt. You’ll never have to buy filters or bags.

HEPA filtration systems are superb for keeping allergies at bay. While the idea of HEPA filters are great, the vacuum body isn’t sealed and can release the allergens back into the environment, meaning only a fraction of the allergens are kept on the filter. The sealed system of the Shark vacuum holds these allergens in so that 99.99% of allergens are removed by vacuuming. Pet dander and household dust is easily removed by the use of the Shark vacuum making it the key to a healthy home for allergy sufferers.

The quiet Shark Navigator is the latest technology in vacuum systems and is being talked about more than any other vacuum. Reviews from current users are showing the excitement over the new sealed system vacuum. The Shark’s maneuverability is outstanding, the noise level is reduced and the amazing suction is leaving a great impression on those who have purchased the lightweight power-packed vacuum.
